Meditation Techniques

While meditation might sound like something that everyone can do in just a few simple minutes, the honest truth is that there is more to it than just sitting in a quiet space with your hands on your knees and saying “Om”.

When you start to learn to meditate you may wish to look for an experienced teacher or group to help you understand all of the steps to mediating.

Sitting there and closing your eyes and just hoping it will work will lead to no where and feeling frustrated with the practice all together. Once you have an understanding of the steps taken with each form of meditation and know which is right for you and your personality then you will see the results so many rave about.

Here is a technique for you to try on your own.

The Theory of Meditation

Meditation is fundamentally the practice of maintaining consciousness of the present moment. The altered awareness and deep relaxation experienced during meditation is associated with the thinking part of your brain, the cortex, providing significant psychological and physiological benefits.

Writing your own spells and rituals

It has been pointed out to me that before we go into doing group spells or casting individually we should have a few conversations as to how to write a spell, what goes into casting a spell, and other foundation discussions that should go along with spell work.

Writing your own spells and rituals

Know the Basics:
It’s a good idea that when you begin to write your own magick that you know what magick is to you.

Know different ways use the energy within and around you. Learn and practice how to go about raising, directing and grounding your own energy.

A great first step in casting is to know how to cast a magick circle or some type of protection. Know what it means to open the circle and close the circle and how that can be preformed.

Next plan out and know the basic outline of a spell. Look into what each step means for you. What steps do you want to take for the spell you are writing.

Look at spells that are written in the topic you are planing to write in. How are they laid out? Do you want to use the same lay out?
